Compare Models IMON Manchurian MIKAI and our Manchurian PASHINA

South Manchurian Railway (SMR), an important part of WWII and Chinese railway history, became more and more popular. Models IMON was the only one that produced the very first SMR engine (2-8-2 Mikai) in HO-scale brass (Katsumi KTM had made Pashina 30 years ago and rerun the model 10 years ago, however, for that quality, we can’t even consider it as a brass model.)

This year, we made famous SMR Asia Express’s locomotive: Pashina, and we would like to show you here why this Pashina has next level of quality.

1. Our engine has fully closed under-body. So, no cut on body with visible gear box and rubber tube. Also, our engine never uses rubber tubes or plastic arms, but only brass gears.

2. Our engine has close head for valve set but major Korean brass models have open head, which can’t even hide the huge screw to fix the valve set.

3. Not only Models IMON’s MIKAI but also many other brass models don’t have proper tender under-body details and flooring. Our models representing everything in correct way such as break system and under-body flooring.
