South Africa Railway Class 26 Steam Locomotive. Engine number 3450, in time periode condition of May 1982 after rebuilt at the SAR workshops at Salt River in Cape Town, and reclassified to class 26. Engine is in vermillion red body, mainframe and tender, with dark graphite smoke box small German type smoke deflectors with the name plate: L.D. PORTA on the deflectors. White wheel tire, SAS/SAR cross lettering on tender side, and white decoration line on engine and tender side.
